Preserving the Past for Future Generations

The Quilcene Historical Museum is a multi-purpose institution. During our open season – April through September – our docent volunteers welcome hundreds of visitors.

Annually over 1000 guests from 67 Washington cities and towns, 13 states and 5 foreign countries toured our exhibitions. School children, 4-H groups, senior citizens and disabled persons come for tours of our grounds and exhibits.

The museum plans special events in conjunction with area celebrations such as Brinnon Shrimp Fest in May, Quilcene Alumni Luncheon in June, a summer wine and cheese tasting fund-raising event, tribal canoe journey in July/August, All-Quilcene Yard Sale in August, and the Quilcene Fair in September.
